Jackson Hole, WY
A great place to visit and pretty good little cafe's to eat at. I think the best time to go is close to off season because it is very cheap and not very crowded. We actually got a room for $39 dollars.

Why I love South Korea ....
What I miss most is the insane shopping everywhere. I never thought that I was a shopper until I went there. The styles, prices and new designers are hard to say no too. Even now the apparel that I bought 4 years ago is in style. When I went there, slouch bags were in every store and so where scarves galore. I just started seeing these here a little while ago. Yes, South Korea was very pretty and I would love to go back, but mostly for the shopping.
If you love shopping then I would recommend the Myeongdong district. It has many, many stores and stores that also have stores through them. Very busy with people shopping. Can get anything there. I would recommend looking at the price and then telling them your own price. Paying the asking price here is not set in stone.
Gyeongbokgung (Palace), Seoul is very photogenic. It is a great place to see the old culture. I also loved the Korean National Folk Museum.
All these areas were a very quick train ride to Uijeongbu and then a train into the Seoul Station to connect to any train to every destination. Uijeongbu is another place to get souvenirs. It is cheaper than Seoul and smaller if you do not like crowds. In the station there are, what I call Korean Puff Balls which are very good to munch on in the trains with a quick cup of coffee. I would say that the at each station there are tons of shops that have many things cheap. I bought a load of face creams and soap at some stations. You cannot beat $2 for a basket of face moisturizer.
If by chance you are hungry I would go to McDonald's and order a Egg McMuffin. I have never been anywhere, where your sandwich comes with egg, ketchup and mustard. It sounds gross, but it actually tasted really good. Any small dive in the wall has cheap food. Since I am a vegetarian I just stuck with rice, vegetables and kimchi, which is spicy but not that bad.
